“As a successful woman in technology, I saw that diversity and inclusion was a problem I was uniquely able to solve.”

Technology investing has a blind spot.

Did you know women represent only 13% of the decision-makers in venture capital, according to AllRaise.org. Plus, female founders receive just 2% of venture capital funding on average. But when given the chance, women deliver higher returns on investment funding than their male counterparts. Do you see where I’m going with this?

As an entrepreneur, I recognize the important roles technology can play in solving humanity’s grand challenges. But I also see that our solutions will continue to fall short until they’re shaped by a true diversity of voices.

As an investor, my mission is to increase equity, diversion and inclusion in technology leadership and investing. And ultimately, as a mother, my aim is to create a thriving world for our children.

Investing in Diversity

True investing is about much more than just writing a check.

My work is to provide women and business leaders from other under-represented demographics with mentorship, leadership training, and access to valuable networks and capital.

I’m deeply proud of the portfolio of companies in which I’ve invested.
